MHRA are setting up a new Technologies Forum focused on medical devices.
The aims are:To ensure that all novel technologies are appropriately monitored & regulated, to optimise the safety of patients & users, & to minimise unnecessary delays to product marketing due to an unclear regulatory process.
To provide a path for ensuring that those working at the MHRA are kept up to date with novel technologies.
To bring together industry, regulators, users &scientists to ensure a high level of interaction & awareness regarding new technologies, their potential uses, & any potential implications for how they are most effectively regulated.
