EDMA NEWS: EDMA elected its Executive Committee at the Association’s 29th General Assembly, in Brussels on 26 June.
The EDMA Executive Committee conducts the affairs of the Association in accordance with the strategy and general policies approved by the General Assembly, and both in response to and in anticipation of events occurring in the market place and in the regulatory and political environment.
The Executive Committee is composed of eleven members whose appointment mirrors the dual membership of the organisation, with 6 representatives of the National Associations and 5 members representing the affiliated corporations. Members of the Executive Committee are elected for two years
David Atkins from Ortho Clinical Diagnostics will represent the British IVD Association, BIVDA. David Atkins is currently the Vice President for Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, EMEA.
He has been with J&J for 15 years and in the IVD business since 1999.
