On 16 September 2008, the Office for Official Publications of the European Communities (OPOCE) will be implementing a modified version of the CPV codes (CPV Code Version 2007), to replace Version 2003.
The codes really do change – the current (2003) code for a blood analyser is 33253452, whereas the new code is 38434520-7...anything to make life easier....Clearly if you are doing your own searches, you need to take some action, as well as being aware of the possibility of sketchy coding coming up in notices....See http://ec.europa.eu/internal_market/publicprocurement/e-procurement_en.htm for look up tables etc. |
