BIVDA’s key messages in its response will be that genetic tests should not be considered as fundamentally different from any other test and that it is a concern to industry that the suppliers of Direct to Consumer Testing Services are not regulated as this could result in ‘cowboy’ operators bringing the sector into disrepute.
