Randox win Premier Healthcare Alliance contract for Quality Control

Randox Laboratories Ltd is proud to announce that in April 2011 we signed a multi-year agreement with the Premier Healthcare Alliance for the supply of Acusera Quality Control (QC) materials.  The agreement will provide the 90,000 plus Premier members with access to our extensive range of quality control products and the benefits they offer clinical laboratories. Thermo Fisher Scientific Acquires TREK Diagnostic Systems
Range of Manual and Automated Equipment and Consumables Support Productivity Advances in Microbiology Labs

BASINGSTOKE, England. Roche Training Specialist Service drives quality and safety at the Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust

The Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust has recently adopted the Roche Training Specialist Service to deliver consistent and high quality training for their point of care testing (POCT) operators.  Tailored to meet the specific needs of the Trust, this service provides confidence that staff are trained to a high standard and will help the Trust to meet CPA (central pathology accreditation) requirements for POCT.

Roche blood glucose meters and POC data management solution allow Mid Yorkshire hospitals to meet patient safety and CPA requirements

The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust has recently installed Roche Accu-Chek® Inform II wireless enabled blood glucose meters in wards, clinics and theatres across all three of its acute hospital sites in Wakefield, Pontefract and Dewsbury.  The meters are linked wirelessly to the Hospital Information System (HIS) via the Roche Point of Care (POC) data management solution, cobas® IT 1000, allowing them to be managed centrally in accordance with national guidelines for POC devices.
