By @ 16:18 :: 2267 Views

Radiometer’s AQT90 FLEX is a compact and cost¬-effective point of care immunoassay analyser offering rapid turnaround times for determination of critical biomarkers, such as D-dimer, and provides a valuable diagnostic tool for ruling out venous thromboembolism (VTE).

Recent news reports1,2 have estimated that 25,000 people die annually as a result of VTE, and that upwards of 10,000 lives could be saved if all patients were screened on admission to hospital. Patients with negative D-dimer test results are at very low risk of VTE, and Radiometer’s AQT90 FLEX enables clinicians to perform rapid, accurate, point-¬of-¬care D-dimer measurements in less than 20 minutes.
